Water based Varnishes

Impregnating varnishes are key components of modern motor, generator and transformer production. They turn the laminated core and the wire winding into a homogeneous and mechanically stable unit. The advantages are excellent protection against a wide variety of environmental factors as well as improved heat transfer between wire winding, slot insulation and core
The product shows, due to the high  content, a very low flow time and therefore an excellent penetration ability. Dilution of the varnish can be curried out with demineralized water. For a correct management of the product, it will be necessary to observe carefully the viscosityand PH value . The curing of the varnish must be occurred gradually, The temperature in the first step should be kept at 80 to 100 °C so that  to evaporate a high degree of water and to avoid bubbles. After the drying process will be finished  at 130-150 °C.

AQUANEL® VF 111 A

Impregnating varnish based on polyester-melamine modified resins, contains water, VOC free oven-drying, for general purpose such as stator, armature, small trasformer and other electrical equipment.  Tough-hard material, good mechanical properties and resistance to the effect of chemicals, UL-recognized, thermal class 180 (H). The product fulfils the directives 2002/95/EC, 2003/11/EC, 2006/121/EC.
