Finishing Varnishes

Elmotherm® Finishing Varnishes are one or two component products specifically designed for the protection of wire wind components. Their excellent resistance to moisture and chemicals guarantees best properties and highest durability throughout the entire operating time. Elmotherm® finishing varnishes from ELANTAS are designed for operation in harshest environments. Whenever your goods are exposed to moisture and humidity, to chemicals, aggressive liquids or to dirt – protection by Elmotherm® finishing varnishes ensures highest durability. Our portfolio of finishing varnishes includes solutions for all application requirements. Standard uses are the protection of Motors, Stators, Transformers and General Windings. Application Methods Finishing varnishes are applied after the impregnation process with secondary insulating materials. Most common is a simple dip & bake process. For a more selective coating, finishing varnishes can also be sprayed or brushed. To ease the application, we also offer finishing varnishes filled in spray cans. Elmotherm® finishing varnishes are dried at ambient temperature by standard. To accelerate the process, the applied varnish can also be dried in ovens at up to 80 °C.

Coating varnish, 2 components, solvented, colourless, curing at ambient temperature, high chemical resistivity, thermal class 180 (H).
Very good resistance against moisture and chemicals, high electrical strength, for thermal class 180 (H). The product fulfils the directives 2002/95/EC, 2003/11/EC, 2006/121/EC.

AQUANEL® H 2001

Water alkyd air dry varnish, low VOC.
It is designed for use in applications where good bond strength, moisture and chemical resistance are required. Suitable for dip application of motors, coils and transformers Class  155 °C  ( F ) UL approved. The product  fulfils the directives 2002/95/EC, 2003/11/EC, 2006/121/EC

AQUANEL® H 2002
