ELANTAS Italia manufactures high-performance enamels for use as magnet wire coatings. Magnet wire enamels, in general, consist of polymeric resins dissolved in organic solvents.

The resins used are primarily: poly (esterimide)s (PEI), polyurethanes (PU), polyesters (PES), trishydroxyethyl isocyanurate (THEIC) modified polyesters, poly (amideimide)s (PAI), polyvinylformals and self-bonding resins.
